Under normal circumstances, S-180 cells are passaged through ascites derived from Kunming mice. Ten days after intraperitoneally inoculating the mice with 1.0×10⁶ S-180 cells, ascites are aseptically collected, diluted with PBS, counted, and then used to passage the cells through intraperitoneal inoculation.
