The P815 cells phagocytose small milk particles but do not phagocytose zymosan or BCG. There is no antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity. Dextran sulfate, LPS, or PPD cannot inhibit cell growth. Testing indicates that the cells are negative for ectromelia virus (mousepox). The cells have passed mycoplasma testing in this repository.
