Precautions for LLC Cell Culture:

  1. The cell morphology is heterogeneous, with both round and spindle-shaped cells present; during growth, some cells remain rounded while others adhere and spread out.

  2. Both cell spreading and increased adherence ratio require a waiting period of over 48 hours.

  3. Using high-quality fetal bovine serum (FBS) is more conducive to cell growth.

  4. When changing the medium, ensure to collect suspended cells; frequent observation is necessary—preferably daily under a microscope—to monitor cell status.
