The 3T6-Swiss albino cell line was established in 1963 from dissociated Swiss mouse embryos. These cells are capable of secreting collagen and hyaluronic acid. Testing has confirmed that the 3T6-Swiss albino cells are negative for limb deformity virus (mouse pox).
