This cell line was derived from squamous cell carcinoma tissue of the tongue of a 25-year-old male. It expresses epidermal keratin and exhibits low levels of integrin. Subcutaneous inoculation of 10⁷ cells into nude mice resulted in tumor formation at a 100% frequency (5/5) within 21 days.
