The HL-7702 [L-02] cell line is derived from normal human liver cells. The population doubling time of HL-7702 [L-02] cells is approximately 20 hours, and the cells exhibit an epithelial-like morphology. Under electron microscopy, desmosomes and tonofilaments—characteristic features of epithelial cells—are also observed. HL-7702 [L-02] cells proliferate rapidly, show negative expression of AFP and CK-19, and express ALB at a level of 10 μg/ml. Some cells undergo morphological variation after multiple passages, accompanied by loss of ALB expression. (STR profiling matches that of HEK293 or HeLa, indicating potential contamination.)
