Culture System:Endothelial cell basic medium + 5% FBS (fetal bovine serum) + endothelial cell culture supplement + 1% P/S (dual antibiotics). It is recommended to use the HyCyte® complete culture medium for HUVECs , Cat. No. TCH-G406.
Digestion Time:
0.25% trypsin (0.04% EDTA) digests at 37℃ for 1-2 minutes. Note: The digestion time may vary slightly with different brands of trypsin and cell densities, and should be based on the majority of cells rounding up and detaching.
Note:
1. The presence of a small amount of black particles and dead cell debris during cell culture is a normal phenomenon and can be removed by changing the medium.
2. Using HyCyte® complete culture medium, passaging at a ratio of 1:2, it is promised that it can be passaged for an additional five generations after receipt.
3. This cell line is a finite cell line; it is recommended to conduct experiments as soon as possible after receipt, and cryopreservation for preservation is not advised.
