The SK-N-SH cell line was established by J.L. Bieder. It differs from the SK-N-MC cell line in that it has a longer doubling time and higher levels of dopamine-β-hydroxylase. SK-N-SH is used as a target cell line in cell-mediated cytotoxicity assays.
