This cell line was derived from a lymph node metastasis of lung mucosal epithelial cell carcinoma. The cell line was isolated using a chemically synthesized medium and subsequently adapted to serum-containing culture conditions. During cultivation, the cells retain the ultrastructural characteristics of mucosal epithelial cells and exhibit multiple markers of squamous differentiation.
