LS 174T is a trypsinized variant of the LS 180 human colon adenocarcinoma cell line. It is more easily subcultured than its parent and, like LS 180, produces large amounts of carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA). Electron microscopy studies reveal an abundance of microfilaments and cytoplasmic mucin vacuoles.
