This cell line was established in March 1994. This lung adenocarcinoma carries an acquired mutation in the EGFR tyrosine kinase domain (E746–A750 deletion). The patient smoked one pack of cigarettes per month between the ages of 25 and 26, and quit smoking 12 years prior to diagnosis.
